Thank you for showing me how far out of the loop I am, Bill. I did watch one episode of WESTWORLD. That's about it.

I couldn't quite get through one ep of WESTWORLD. I'm really out of the loop.

I agree that once again this list is geared way too young for me. We made it through the first episode of WESTWORLD but gave up 5 minutes into the second.

I'd pick a very different list. Start with Rhys Ifans as the diabolical, cold Hector DeJean in BERLIN STATION on Epix. Then there is Michelle Dockery, as far as you can imagine from DOWNTON ABBEY'S Lady Mary in TNT's GOOD BEHAVIOR. In both cases, I am impressed each week by the flawless American performances (not just the accents) by these very British performers.

I found Westworld got better as it went along. I would have nominated Bob Odenkirk from Better Call Saul.
Everyone has there own tastes. I could never get thru an episode of Downton Abbey.

I saw each full season of DOWNTON ABBEY - but the production values were quite good, and the drama was good too. If you watched one of the series, the latter shows were about the same. It was like the BBC UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS, but maybe better and gave a taste of the class values of that bygone era. Fiction, but it worked for me.
