My local grocery store is selling beer (Bud, as it happens) for $16.99 for a 12-pack. $90,000 worth of beer, then, is about 5,300 12-packs. Unless it what my beer drinking friends would call "good" beer. But the story reports it as 719 12-packs of beer...that'd be beer with a value of $125 a 12-pack...more than $10 a bottle/can. I'm not a beer drinker, but $10 for a can of beer sounds a little...implausible?
