I sent Bill the Don McLean story a little while ago too. Bummer.

Yeah, the chances of my watching the Jude Law version of ALFIE (not that I have anything against Jude Law; I don't) are less than one, actually.

Back to the movies (I'm sure we'll all have more to say about the other issue)...

I saw 7 of those 10 movies in 1966. Unlike this year's Academy Award nominated movies, of which I have seen, let's see, exactly zero.
