I don' think I've ever heard "Cara-Lin" by The Strangeloves.

NYC top 10, 10/6/65:

1 1 YESTERDAY - The Beatles
2 2 HANG ON SLOOPY - The McCoys
3 10 1-2-3 - Len Barry
4 11 A LOVER’S CONCERTO - The Toys
5 3 THE “IN” CROWD - The Ramsey Lewis Trio
6 4 EVE OF DESTRUCTION - Barry McGuire
7 15 GET OFF OF MY CLOUD - The Rolling Stones
8 5 YOU WERE ON MY MIND - We Five
9 24 LET’S HANG ON! - The 4 Seasons
10 19 POSITIVELY 4TH STREET - Bob Dylan

Oh, "Cara-Lin" was #22 on the survey, so I probably did hear it after all. I just don't remember it.

And since I won't be here next week to give you that update, let me say that A Lover's Concerto and 1 - 2 - 3 will take over at #1 and #2. "Keep on Dancing" by The Gentrys will jump to #6.

I don't remember "Cara-Lin," either, and it was fun to hear it.

I won't be here next week, so the blog will have to carry on with whatever automated posts I can provide ahead of time. This feature won't be one of them.

I guess I'll drop by next week so the blog won't get lonely.

Btw, DAWN OF CORRECTION? Really?

It reads exactly as I thought it would:

That one got a little airplay in Texas. Not much, though.

The blog will be running on autopilot, but there'll be the usual stuff.

I listened to both on youtube and I'll take "Cara-Lin" over the other hands down.

An easy decision, all right.

Have a good time doing whatever you'll be doing, Bill.

I personally like the NYC top 10 better than the Muskegon top 10.
