I For One Welcome Our New Arachnid Overlords

And Texas leads the way.
Gigantic 40-feet-tall spiderwebs found in Dallas: Any driver curious enough to step out of their car will see thousands of spiders working together to create this web. Of course this is highly unusual, since spiders are known to normally work alone.

Correction: Spiders were PREVIOUSLY known to normally work alone.

The article mentions that the spiders should not be feared but admired for their craftsmanship.

Well, we know they have already gotten to the media.

It happens every summer. It may be a surprise to the poster, but this frequently happens in the local area. So much so that after the last several summers of stories like this because newbies to the area were surprised, the media has spared us coverage of this during this summer.
