I know I don't need to say this but this is one of the finest adventure series written. Crook-to-spy, every novel is a winner.
The only two I've reread are this one and the first one, but I enjoyed the heck out of them back when they were originally published.
I have a copy of this, but I am wanting to read the first one before I crack it open.
I still have the first, 1969, edition, and I still remember buying it off the rack.
So do I, Fred. Marlowe was one of the writers I bought as soon as the books came out.

Dan J. Marlowe is a very underrated writer.
Man, I loved these books! Most of them are in ebook now.
I love his work as well, and the one Bill featured is one of his best.A great biography on Marlowe was published several years ago:Gunshots in Another Room: The Forgotten Life of Dan J. MarloweWell worth the read.
