Well, it's been a while. Maybe they forgot, or they think Jack is dead.

No Jack MacLane? Philistines!

Isn't Jack in a catagory by himself?

I've never been able to get into Jonathan Maberry and I'm pretty sure that I read everything "Jack Maclane" wrote, so as far as I concerned, you are better.

The same thing is true for Daniel Ransom, just in case Ed Gorman reads this.

Daniel Ransom was the inspiration for Jack MacLane.

Those were such great times to read genre paperbacks. Signet published some excellent mysteries and almost anything Zebra published was at least worth a look. And I read all of Robert Randisi's western series, although I did not know they were by the same man.

A lot of us were selling a lot of books in those days. Not so much, now.

I still read a lot but I don't read a lot that's new. God bless Stark House and all the other companies that are putting old genre books back into print. If you are not familiar with Ricochet Press, check them out.

Jack MacLane is one of the all-time best. I continue to hope for more from him.

My daughter said I shouldn't tell you this but I am going to anyway. We were in a Dollar Tree and I found a remaindered copy of a Dan Rhodes novel so I bought it and immediately gave it to a friend, so perhaps I made a new fan for you. My daughter was afraid you would feel bad that your book was selling for a dollar but I thought you might want to know where your books are being sold, even the remaindered ones. And some reasonably big names show up in the Dollar Tree book section.

Thanks for passing it on to a friend. The sheriff and I need all the help we can get. I should go by a Dollar Tree and see if I can pick up some cheap copies for myself!
