While it might not sound like a lot the $143 charge for the styling package was probably something like a 6% price hike for the car...enough to discourage a fair number of potential buyers, I'm guessing. (I'm an economist; I'm required to think like this.)

This car in the regular model, in dark blue and white, was a very handsome automobile indeed.. It's interesting that the crome side trim has the same shape "swoop" as the 1956 Fords had.

I agree about the regular model, Rick. Judy's best friend's parents had a Dodge Texan. Those were pretty cool, too.
