Rock Hall’s 2015 Class Announced

Flavorwire: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s induction Class of 2015 was announced early this morning. The performer inductees are: Lou Reed, Green Day, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Bill Withers, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble. 

Previously inducted as a member of The Beatles, Ringo Starr will be inducted again as a solo artist in 2015, as the recipient of the Rock Hall’s Award for Musical Excellence. This year’s Early Influence Award inductee will be the “5” Royales, a 1950s R&B band.

Sorry Cap'n but Lou Reed is more than worthy. One of the great rock
musician/songwriters of the last 50 years. Already in once as a member of The Velvet Underground.
Certainly better than past light weights like The Eagles and Kiss.

Stevie Ray is still a big name in Texas. And I like the "5" Royales.

Paul Butterfield Blues Band did some pretty good stuff featuring the late great Mike Bloomfield on guitar.
